Interior renovations to modify the existing bookstore into a smaller bookstore, a public town square, shell space for future retail vendors adjacent to the town square. This was a 2-phase project that involved setting up a fire rated hoarding wall to allow the existing bookstore to remain operational while we abated and renovated the new bookstore space.

The scope of work included a new concrete accessibility ramp, spanlite glazing, new millwork display pods, wood ceilings, drywall, flooring, painting, mechanical & electrical modifications. Upon completion Humber College moved into the bookstore over a 2 week period and GEN-PRO began to abate the phase 2 space.

Phase 2 renovations included new integrated millwork seating pods inclusive of steel framing, glazing, sprinklers & Electrical, new flooring, drywall, painting & wood ceilings as well as mechanical & electrical upgrades. In addition, an A/V feature wall was completed in the space.
