The Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board issued a Request for Tender (RFT) for the modernization of St. Frances Cabrini School, and GEN-PRO was the successful bidder that was awarded the contract. We provided a stipulated price and proved our ability to deliver high-quality results within the board’s specific budget and timeline. Our job as an institutional contractor was to take the school’s completed design and turn it into a physical reality for the students and staff.
This project’s biggest challenge was the logistical planning needed to carry out an addition and restoration inside an already-existing school setting. Our team had to check the provided designs and requirements to make sure every element was covered because this was a contract with a set price. To keep the construction of the new addition on schedule without jeopardizing the operation of the current school facility, we had to oversee site improvements and interior modifications.
Beyond accessibility, the project addressed a very practical need for the growing local community. This 2,500 sq. ft. expansion provided an environment designed for kindergarteners to learn and play.
Following the design provided by the school, our scope of work included:
We make sure that we never work in a vacuum because our approach to construction project management is based on a collaborative mentality. We take great satisfaction in collaborating closely with clients all the way to the final inspection, making sure that each stakeholder’s vision is precisely achieved. Our established network of long-standing connections with a number of suppliers and subcontractors strengthens our synergy. These collaborations enable us to manage development while upholding strict deadlines and a high standard of quality.
