The Centre in The Square is a live theatre and performing arts centre built in Kitchener circa 1980. It has over 2000 seats in the main hall and is known for its expansive view and acoustical superiority. Two of the existing fourteen (14) washroom facilities have undergone one renovation during its 40-year life span and this Project was to renew the finishes in all the washrooms. Since the governing codes and mandates have changed since the original construction of the facility and the new requirements were integrated into the scope of the Project.

The renovation of the fourteen (14) washrooms, located on various floors, consisted of refreshing and upgrading the finishes and fixtures, spatial reconfiguration to achieve compliance with current regulations and AODA and updates to supporting mechanical and electrical infrastructure.
