Hamilton Oshawa Port Authority – Pier 12 Fabric Building 2425 Upper Middle Rd. – Burlington, ON
The project involved the supply and erection of a new 160’ X 260’ clear span fabric building for the storage of dry bulk (aggregates, sugar, fertilizer, grains, etc.) and break bulk (steel, pallets, machinery, etc.) on Pier 12 in the Port of Hamilton. The 40,000 square foot superstructure was engineered and supported on 8’ perimeter walls and an interior stacking wall. The new structure included two 25’ by 25’ bi -parting doors at each end of the building along with new lighting, exhaust and make up air.
The new warehouse is part of Hamilton Oshawa Port Authority (HOPA) and the Federal Marine Terminals (FMT) new agreement to expand its operations for another 15 years at the Port of Hamilton.
