Completion of a full interior retrofit of an existing home purchased by McMaster, to house the published works of famed British Philosopher Bertrand Russell.
Work included a complete gut of the exiting property with asbestos remediation of all existing plaster walls and ceilings. New wood framing and spray foam insulation was installed and finished with new drywall surfaces. Floor finishes included new carpet, VCT and tile was installed as well as restoration of the existing hardwood floor.
Exterior improvements included all new aluminum clad wood vented windows throughout the building, new asphalt shingles, new exterior concrete walkways & railings.
New Mechanical & Electrical systems were provided, which included the new HVAC system being brought to the basement in 6 parts and assembled on site due to tight space constraints. A new Vortex sprinkler system was installed in the basement with sprinkler heads throughout the first and second floors.
